Exchanged Days
Employee contracts that begin on August 1, 2025, will include "Exchanged Days", which means the first required workday for those employees will be Monday, July 28, 2025.
What are Exchanged Days?
Exchanged Days refer to the four required workdays scheduled from July 28 to 31, 2025. These days are part of our four-day school week model and are already built into the calendar. In return, four Fridays during the school year have already been designated as non-workdays. July 28 to 31, 2025, are not optional, and they do not provide additional Fridays off. The exchange has already been made as part of the overall calendar structure.
What happens during Exchange Days (July 28–31)?
This week includes:
- Compliance Training/Workday
- Professional Development
- Convocation
Important:
- Attendance is required from July 28 to 31.
- If you attend all four days, you keep the four Fridays off that are already built into the calendar.
- If you miss any of the July days, you must make up the time on one of the Fridays you would otherwise have off. This must be arranged and approved by your supervisor.
- Employees hired after July 31 must arrange makeup time to complete required training and professional development.
