In PE we always start the beginning of the year with some baseline testing for measuring overall fitness. These measurements are recorded and the tests are repeated a few times throughout the year so students can track their progress and see their improvement. One of the students' favorites is the mile run. We will run a "monthly mile" with the goal of each student improving their time each month. Whether it is by one second or by one minute, it is always a great accomplishment when a the kids get better!
