Slayter Creek Students Compete in Academic UIL

On Saturday, we had 18 students compete in the annual Academic UIL competition in Celina. We competed in the following categories: Chess, Listening Skills, Dictionary Skills, Oral Reading, Science, Spelling, MGC, Social Studies, and Theater Design Categories.

A few of these students placed and brought home some team wins!

8^th Maps, Graphs, and Charts: 1^st place-- Collin Westfall; 6^th Place-- Thomas Shaw with a 2^nd Place Team win!

6^th Social Studies: 1^st place-- Riley Westfall

8^th Social Studies: 2^nd place-- Collin Westfall with a 1^st Place team win!
