Pickle Tasting!

Mrs. Bond's class enjoyed a fun and engaging pickle tasting experience! Students used their five senses to closely observe and describe pickles—thinking about how they looked, smelled, tasted, sounded, and felt.

They then put their observations into writing, sharing their opinions, and supporting them with clear reasoning. To extend their thinking, students compared dill and sweet pickles, discussing similarities and differences while explaining which they preferred and why.

It was a hands-on, memorable way to strengthen descriptive writing and opinion skills! Fun is always the way to go!:)
