Community Donation Fuels Automotive Technology Learning

The Anna ISD Education Foundation recently received a generous vehicle donation that will directly support student learning at Anna High School. Mr. and Mrs. Praful and Harsha Madhani donated a 2002 Lexus to be used by students in the Automotive Technology program.

The Automotive Technology program is currently in its third year and continues to grow as part of Anna ISD Career and Technical Education offerings. Access to real vehicles is essential for students to gain practical experience and develop industry-relevant skills.

“This morning, our program received a donated vehicle, and we are truly grateful for this contribution,” said Automotive Technology teacher Kai Brinkerhoff. “As this is only the third year automotive has been offered in Anna ISD, donations like this play a critical role in providing our students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences within Career and Technical Education.”

Brinkerhoff also emphasized the long-term impact of the donation. “A very special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Madhani for their generous donation to our program. Their support will directly impact student learning and skill development for years to come. Thank you as well to our donors and staff who helped make this opportunity possible. We look forward to continuing to grow the Automotive Technology program and building the future of technicians here at Anna High School.”

Anna ISD is thankful for community members who invest in students and help expand opportunities for hands-on learning that prepares them for future careers.
