Anna Student Advisory Council Inspires Positive Change
The Anna Student Advisory Council has been making waves by spearheading initiatives that have profoundly impacted Anna High School and its community. Comprising a diverse group of students, this council has shown how the youth can drive positive change in their educational environment.
The council meets with AISD Superintendent Mr. Comeaux three times a semester. Comeaux recognized the importance of involving students in decision-making directly affecting their education. The Anna Student Advisory Council is comprised of nine motivated students from various backgrounds and grade levels.
Topics of discussion include but are not limited to programs offered at AHS, credits needed for graduation, student discipline, communication with students, and much more.
The council's lively discussions highlight the power of young people coming together to create a lasting impact on their community.
