Anna ISD Shines at the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet!
On March 1, 2025, the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce (GACC) hosted its Annual Banquet, where three outstanding Anna ISD employees were recognized as "Super Star" nominees, with one taking home the title of GACC AISD Super Star of the Year!
Congratulations to this year’s nominees:
Tomika Crosby – A dedicated campus administrator and former head volleyball coach, Mrs. Crosby is known for her patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment to students and staff at Slayter Creek Middle School. She works tirelessly to uplift campus culture and always puts students first.
Jeff Morris – Since 2017, Mr. Morris has served as an Ag Mechanics Teacher and now leads Anna ISD’s Facilities Department. His work has been instrumental in shaping the district’s future, overseeing major construction projects and ensuring students have the best learning environments possible.
And the Chamber's 2024 AISD Super Star of the Year… Dana Walker!
As the Director of Student Support and Interventions, Dana leads with heart, ensuring students have access to crucial resources. From overseeing school and mental health counselors to spearheading community initiatives like Coyote Packs and AISD’s first Resource Fair, her dedication to student well-being and family support is truly inspiring.
But the celebrations didn’t stop there! In a surprise announcement, Anna ISD was named the Chamber’s 2024 Partner of the Year! This special honor recognizes the district’s strong collaboration and commitment to the Anna community.
A huge thank you to the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce for recognizing the hard work of our AISD team. We are so proud of our Super Stars and grateful for this incredible partnership!
