Anna ISD Food Services Awarded $115K Grant to Boost Farm-Fresh School Meals
The Anna ISD Food Service Department has been awarded a $115,000 Local Food for Schools (LFS) grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture.
This funding supports efforts to enhance school menus with locally sourced ingredients, helping to sustain the momentum of the LFS program and strengthen the expanding Farm Fresh Initiative. By fostering strong connections between farmers and schools, the program ensures fresh, nutritious options for students while supporting local agriculture.
