Anna ISD Education Foundation Awards $40,000 Grant to Enhance Career and Technical Education Program

At last week's school board meeting, the Anna ISD Education Foundation presented Anna ISD Career and Technical Education Director Ted Mackey and Coordinator Emily Burke with a $40,000 check for the CTE program.  CTE Director Ted Mackey says the grant will purchase six new 3D printers for the Makerspace, a laser engraver for Slayter Creek Middle School, and implement a Virtual Reality program for Career Exploration and Career Skills. 

This gift was part of the Grants for Great Ideas AEF program.
