Anna ISD Celebrates Newest Ambassadors

Anna ISD proudly announces the graduation of our latest cohort of Anna ISD Ambassadors! These committed community members dedicated six evenings over the past school year to delve into the intricacies of our district, and we celebrated their achievements alongside their families this week.

The Anna ISD Ambassador Academy offers an invaluable opportunity for community members to gain a comprehensive understanding of our district. Participants develop a deep appreciation for Anna ISD's inner workings by engaging with various departments and district leadership. As participant Toshiko Tobar reflects, "Through the Anna ISD Ambassador Academy, I really learned a lot about planning and how the school district is thinking about the future, not just what's in front of us now."

This initiative strengthens ties between our district and the community it serves. Educating residents about our district's operations creates a well-informed resource pool for district planning, improvement teams, and collaborative endeavors.

The Academy's structure facilitates interactive learning and dialogue. Participants meet in person for six evening sessions over the school year, allowing for a thorough exploration of key topics.

Applications for the Anna ISD Ambassador Academy open annually in August for the upcoming academic year. We encourage passionate community members to consider becoming ambassadors for Anna ISD, supporting our schools, and enhancing our students' educational experience.
