Anna ISD Celebrates Academic Excellence at Annual Top 10 Dinner
Academic excellence was on full display as Anna ISD recently honored the Top 10 students from each high school grade level during the district’s annual Top 10 Dinner on Monday, May 11.
The special evening celebrated the dedication, discipline, and countless hours of hard work demonstrated by Anna High School students throughout the school year. From freshmen to seniors, students were recognized for earning the highest GPAs in their class and for setting an example of excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Families gathered alongside students for an evening of recognition, dinner, and celebration as each honoree was recognized for their outstanding achievements. The event highlighted the strong support system behind each student’s success and the commitment shared by families, teachers, and staff across Anna ISD.
The evening also included a special recognition for the Class of 2026 senior Top 10 students, led by valedictorian Alyssa Gonzalez and salutatorian Karen Martinez-Delgado in the largest graduating class in school history.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening came as seniors recognized a teacher who made a lasting impact on their educational journey. Each senior invited a favorite teacher from their years in Anna ISD, dating all the way back to kindergarten, to attend the dinner alongside their families.
During the program, seniors shared personal stories about why they selected their honored teacher and reflected on the encouragement, support, and guidance those educators provided throughout the years. Each student then presented their teacher with a special award to commemorate the occasion.
The evening served as a powerful reminder of the relationships that help shape student success and the lasting impact educators have on their students’ lives.
Congratulations to all of the Top 10 honorees for this incredible achievement. Anna ISD is proud of these Coyotes and looks forward to all they will accomplish in the future.
