Anna ISD Celebrates 27 TIA Designated Teachers

Anna ISD Celebrates 27 TIA Designated Teachers

On Tuesday, March 3, Anna ISD district administration visited campuses with a special surprise for 27 teachers across the district. Each educator received exciting news, along with a personal congratulatory cake, for earning a new or higher designation through the Teacher Incentive Allotment.

The moment was filled with smiles, gratitude, and celebration as campus leaders and district administrators recognized the dedication these teachers bring to their classrooms every day.

With this year’s designations, Anna ISD now has 94 teachers across the district who have earned a Teacher Incentive Allotment designation, marking an incredible milestone that reflects the talent, commitment, and impact of Anna ISD educators.

What is the Teacher Incentive Allotment?

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was established through House Bill 3 to recognize and reward highly effective teachers across Texas.

Through a rigorous local designation system approved by the state, teachers can earn designations such as Recognized, Exemplary, or Master based on measures like student growth and classroom performance. These designations generate additional funding that goes directly to teachers, recognizing excellence while helping districts attract and retain outstanding educators.

Why it matters

Programs like the Teacher Incentive Allotment highlight the incredible work happening in classrooms every day. By recognizing teachers who demonstrate exceptional instructional impact, the program celebrates educators who help students grow, succeed, and reach their potential.

Anna ISD is incredibly proud of these 27 educators and grateful for their continued commitment to student success and instructional excellence. Their work represents the very best of what it means to serve students and families in the Anna community.
