Glory Through Grit… and Guitar Riffs
Clemons Creek Middle School made history this month with its first-ever Talent Show, and the Coyotes did not disappoint. Students took the stage both individually and in groups, proudly representing their Houses in a night full of energy, creativity, and courage. From powerful vocal performances and high-energy dance routines to live instrumentals and even wrestling showcases, the variety of talent on display proved that CCMS students shine far beyond the classroom.
The atmosphere was electric as classmates cheered on their friends and Houses, creating a true sense of community and friendly competition. Each act brought something unique to the stage, highlighting not only talent, but also the confidence and grit it takes to perform in front of a crowd. A panel of outside professionals carefully evaluated each performance, making the final decision a tough one. In the end, the top honor went to Elinor Steward of the House of Friendship, whose bass guitar performance stood out for its skill, stage presence, and musicality.
Our first Talent Show was more than just a competition — it was a celebration of creativity, courage, and Coyote spirit. If this year was any indication, this new tradition is here to stay.
