Principal Amanda Smith does not have an easy job, but she makes it look easy every day. When asked how she tackles the daily challenges, she simply replied, “I work to find ways to see the positive. I want to be optimistic and supportive.” And she gets that mindset from those who believed in her. “People have always seen the best in me and have pushed me to those levels as I would always seek better opportunities to work the job I knew I could do.” She always took the best opportunity so she could show people that she had the skills to be able to become who she is today. We celebrate all the ways Ms. Smith works so hard for CCMS, from her encouragement and competitiveness in House activities to her unique commitment to dress up days. We love our principal and how she serves our campus!
