Our hiring committee has made its decision, and I am proud to officially announce that Mr. Ken Ringel has accepted the position of Director of Bands for Anna ISD.

When we opened this position, we were looking for an elite leader who could make an immediate and lasting impact on our program. Ken’s resume speaks for itself, bringing an exceptional level of proven, state-caliber success to Anna:

• Extensive Leadership: 29 years in music education, including 22 years as a Head Director leading large 4A, 5A, and 6A programs.

• Competitive Excellence: A clear track record of state-level achievement, having led his previous programs to both the UIL State Marching Contest and the TMEA Honor Band finals.

• Comprehensive Expertise: Over 30 years of experience as a drill designer, a background marching with the Bluecoats, and a performance history that includes playing with the Fort Worth Symphony.

Ken possesses the operational expertise and the competitive drive necessary to elevate our students and support our staff. He is exactly the type of leader we need to drive this program forward, and he is ready to hit the ground running.
