Theodore Mackey III Officially Named Principal of Anna High School

During the February 16th Anna ISD School Board Meeting, Mr. Mackey was officially named Principal of Anna High School. With the interim designation now formally removed, Mr. Mackey steps fully into the role after faithfully serving as Interim Principal since the summer of 2025.

We are incredibly proud of Principal Mackey. He is an exceptional leader who brings energy, vision, and positivity to Anna High School every single day. Over the past several months, he has already made a meaningful impact on our campus through his steady leadership, heart for students, and unwavering commitment to growth.

Principal Mackey’s dedication to our students and staff is evident in all he does. His leadership has strengthened our campus culture, supported academic excellence, and fostered a spirit of unity across Anna High School.

Members of his family joined him at the board meeting to celebrate this special announcement, a well-deserved recognition of his service, leadership, and commitment to our school community.

We are grateful for the work he has already accomplished and even more excited about the future ahead under his leadership.
