Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Neville β€” From Crime Scene Investigation to the Classroom

At AHS, we are fortunate to have educators who bring passion, authenticity, and real-world experience into their classrooms. One of those educators is Mrs. Neville, whose journey into education is as compelling as the lessons she teaches every day.

Before stepping into the classroom, Mrs. Neville built her career in Crime Scene Investigation, where precision, critical thinking, and data analysis were essential skills. Rather than leaving that experience behind, she has woven it into her teaching, creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences that help students connect classroom concepts to the real world.

In a recent feature on STAT Studio, Mrs. Neville shared her professional journey and reflected on how her background continues to shape her approach to teaching. Hearing her speak about her transition from CSI to education highlights what makes her such a powerful presence on our campus: a deep commitment to student success, a passion for inquiry, and an ability to make learning relevant and exciting.

Mrs. Neville’s classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and students are challenged to think critically. Her enthusiasm for her subject matter and her students is evident in everything she does — from lesson design to the relationships she builds each day.

We are incredibly thankful for Mrs. Neville and the energy, expertise, and heart she brings to AHS. Her story is a reminder of the impact one dedicated educator can have, and we are proud to have her as part of our school community.
