NORD is proud to support local students and partner with educational programs that help develop the future workforce.
Graduating seniors from the Anna High School STEAM Program in Anna, Texas recently visited our McKinney Texas facility to learn more about careers in manufacturing and the industrial workforce.
During their visit, students met with the NORD leadership team, learned about the history of the company and current operations, toured the production floor, and engaged directly with employees to learn more about our products, operations, and career opportunities. The students were able to ask questions during the tour, gaining firsthand insight into how their education and technical training prepares them for future careers in manufacturing and engineering.
The visit concluded with a presentation from our Inventory Supervisor who shared information about available summer help opportunities. A final Q&A session allowed students to further explore career paths and workplace experiences before departing.
