Anna High School to Host “Giving is Groovy” Blood Drive

Anna High School to Host “Giving is Groovy” Blood Drive

Anna High School is partnering with Carter BloodCare to host the “Giving is Groovy” Blood Drive on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Anna High School Auditorium and is open to eligible students, staff, and community members.

The blood drive aims to support local hospitals and patients in need while encouraging the community to give back in a meaningful way. Donating blood is a simple act that can help save multiple lives, and organizers hope to see strong participation throughout the day.

As an added incentive, donors will receive a limited-edition “Giving is Groovy” t-shirt while supplies last. Carter BloodCare is also offering double donation credit toward senior-year recognition for student donors.

Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by registering here. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Donors must bring a photo ID, and 16-year-old donors are required to have a signed parental consent form.

Anna High School invites everyone who is eligible to roll up their sleeves and help make a difference, because when it comes to saving lives, giving really is groovy.
