Anna High School Beta Club Shines at National Convention in Nashville

ANNA, TX – The Anna High School Beta Club proudly represented Anna ISD at the Senior National Beta Convention held last week in Nashville, Tennessee, where students competed against some of the nation's most talented and accomplished Beta members. Students who competed at the national level needed to first place at their state convention or regional leadership summit.

Eight Anna High School students attended the convention, with seven participating in the National Convention for the very first time. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the week as they proudly represented Anna High School on the national stage amongst over 12,000 other students in attendance.

The club is excited to announce that Vicente Pineda earned 3rd Place in 12th Grade Biomedical Health Science, an outstanding achievement amongst top competitors from across the country.

In addition, Anna High School's Beta Blitz Team—comprised of Vicente Pineda, Karen Martinez-Delgado, and Andrew Rodriguez—secured a Top 10 national finish, placing 10th overall in the highly competitive marketing event.

These accomplishments reflect not only the hard work and determination of the students, but also the dedication of their sponsors, Mrs. Bristol and Ms. Landreth, whose leadership, encouragement, and commitment to student success have helped cultivate a thriving Beta Club program at Anna High School. Their efforts continue to inspire students to pursue academic excellence, leadership, and service both in and out of the classroom.
