Procedures for Canceling a Job
Once you have committed to a substitute job, it is important that you keep this commitment to ensure classrooms have the required coverage so students are not left unattended.
If for any reason you are ill or cannot fulfill the assignment you have accepted, immediately contact the appropriate campus secretary that you will not be able to substitute teach for that day.
Each campus will manage any changes for their particular campus. If the campus does not answer when you call, please leave a voicemail for the secretary and send an e-mail as well as a follow-up call at the time school opens to be sure the staff is aware of your absence.
Substitute changes must be made through the individual campuses where the substitute teacher is scheduled to teach. Do not leave a voicemail or send an e-mail to Nisa Stewart to cancel a job.
