Negative Balance Alerts

When a negative balance reaches $15.00 or more:

  • Elementary students (Pre-K through Grade 2) will be served a complete meal, excluding extra items. 
  • Elementary students (Grades 3 through 5) will be served a modified meal, excluding extra items.
  • Secondary students will be served a modified meal, excluding extra items. 

Printed negative balance letters are sent home with students weekly and emailed to parents monthly. Emailing negative balance letters to the parents or guardian will minimize overt identification of the student. Anna ISD Food Service will work with the campus administrative staff to assist in collecting unpaid balances.
