Anna ISD Legislative Priorities

The Anna ISD School Board approved the district's Legislative Priorities for the 89th Legislative Session on February 20, 2025.  The priorities include:

  • Teacher/Staff Recruitment and Retention
  • School Funding-Increased Basic Allotment and Inflation Index
  • Safety and Security
  • Opposition to Vouchers/Education Savings Accounts
  • Local Control
  • Reform the State Accountability System
