Make a Difference in the Life of an Anna ISD Student

Silver Coyotes is a volunteer program for grandparents, retired residents, and senior community members who want to support Anna ISD elementary students through encouragement, connection, and service.

Who Can Be a Silver Coyote?

If you are a grandparent, retired resident, or senior adult with a love for children, we invite you to be part of this heartwarming program. No teaching experience is needed. All you need is a caring spirit and a little time to share.

Ways to Serve

  • Read-Aloud Buddy
    Read books to individual students or small groups.

  • Classroom Helper
    Assist teachers with simple tasks or student activities.

  • Event Volunteer
    Support special events, such as book fairs or celebrations.

  • Front Office Help
    Assist office staff with tasks

  • Library Help
    Assist with organizing books, shelving returns, and helping students find materials.

Choose Your Campus

Volunteers may select a preferred elementary campus or choose to be placed where support is most needed.

How to Join

  1. Print and complete the Silver Coyotes Volunteer Application. Applications are available to pick up at the Anna ISD Administration Building or at any Anna ISD elementary campus.
  2. Submit your completed application.
    You can either:
    • Email it to galilea.medinabravo@annaisd.org
    • Bring it to the Anna ISD Administration Building
    151 W. Rosamond Pkwy
    Anna, TX

  3. Application review and placement.
    Gali Medina Bravo will coordinate with the appropriate campus to arrange your volunteer placement.

  4. Confirmation and next steps.
    Gali will contact you with information about your campus and how to begin volunteering.
