Ambassador Academy Program
Program Overview
The Anna ISD Ambassador Academy is an annual program that provides citizens of our community with a better understanding of public school operations, specifically tailored to Anna ISD.
The program will provide participants with a better understanding of the rationale behind many of the district's operational decisions and greater insight into why Anna ISD is an excellent school choice for our community and our children.
This program allows participants to learn more about the following:
- Board member roles and responsibilities
- Superintendent and administrative cabinet roles and responsibilities
- District Strategic Plan
- Curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- District operations related to general business and school finance
- Anna's growth and how it applies to the district
By the end of the program, ambassadors will be prepared to become district advocates and help educate the community about lesser-known aspects of how public schools operate, provide information on the unique needs of a fast-growing district, and share accomplishments and positive news about the campuses.
I feel that this program is a wonderful process that will naturally evolve to its potential as more people in our community get involved. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
