Dyslexia Services

Anna ISD's predominant direct intervention program for students identified with Dylexia is Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia. This curriculum was written by the staff of the Center for Dyslexia at Scottish Rite Hospital. Take Flight was designed for use for children with dyslexia ages seven and older. The two-year program is designed to be delivered five days per week for 45 minutes per day, or four days per week for 60 minutes per day. The program is delivered in a small group setting with a trained instructor.

Alternate dyslexia intervention services are available for students who are younger than the age of seven or whose individualized needs require a different type of programming.
