Annually, educators at each campus participate in the Teacher of the Year nomination process. A campus-level committee reviews the nominations and selects the outstanding educator who will be recognized as the Campus Teacher of the Year. These chosen Campus Teachers of the Year are then submitted to a district-level committee. This committee, in a similar fashion, selects District Teachers of the Year—one for elementary education and one for secondary education.
In addition to the teacher recognition process, peers also have the opportunity to nominate employees at each campus and an operational staff member at large. The nominations and selection process for these employees mirror the structure outlined for the Teacher of the Year, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to recognizing excellence across various roles within the educational institution.
