• Shannon Davis

    Mrs. Davis is serving her second year at the Anna Education Center and her 21st year in education. Mrs. Davis began working in Anna ISD in 2002. She taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade and became a counselor in 2006. Mrs. Davis has a Bachelor’s and Master's Degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Ms. Davis was born and raised in Anna and graduated from Anna High School in 1995.


    Christie Roe

    Mrs. Christie Roe is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling through the College of Education within the University of North Texas in 2010 and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology cum laude from the University of North Texas in 2006. She has over a decade of clinical experience in counseling individuals of all ages but has concentrated experience and expertise in counseling children and their parents. Through training at the world-renowned University of North Texas Center for Play Therapy, clinical experience at the Student Counseling Center at the University of North Texas, and community counseling experience at Applied Psychology Group of Texoma, Texoma Medical Center Behavioral Health Center, Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center, and Whitesboro ISD Mrs. Roe has gained much experience in the areas of counseling and testing children. She recently completed the educational requirements to become certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy.

    Mrs. Roe is committed to improving educational and social equity, access, and success for all students by serving as an advocate, leader, consultant, and team member at Anna ISD. Through Child-Centered play therapy, sand tray therapy, parent consultations, prevention programs, and classroom guidance lessons, Mrs. Roe helps meet the emotional, social, and mental health needs of the students of Anna ISD.
