As part of the TIA plan, districts are required to spend 90% of the designation funds for teachers. The district will incur additional costs to implement the TIA system; however, the committees felt it important to also supplement the salary of our instructional paraprofessionals as they are also instrumental in the success of both teachers and students and are highly valued members of our community. Therefore, the additional 10% of funds the district receives from designations will be pooled together and equally distributed to our instructional paraprofessionals across the district.
